We go back and forth on the confusion we trappers often face when it comes to understanding how fur is graded and what all of those symbols and abbreviations on your auction slip actually mean, and how you can interpret what your fur grades, as well as how that impacts the value it may bring at auction. just curious tho do you believe FHA would
except NAFAS board sizes?i don’t own
many, but the ones i have are to nafa specs
no one around me sells FHA boards
Hey Vince. They will take fur stretched to either size, but I’m not sure if it affects grading. I’ve reached out to Mark and will let you know what I hear.

Here’s Mark’s response:
“As for the board sizes, using either FHA or NAFA recommended sizes are ok for either auction company. The difference is negligible and will not affect the overall size of the skins to the point of losing or gaining size or money.”
