Northern Idaho Fur Auction Results: February 2018

February 21, 2018 by Jeremiah Leave a Comment

The Intermountain Fur Harvesters recently held a fur sale in northern Idaho.  Here are some of the average fur prices from the auction:

Beaver – $14

Bobcat – $263

Coyote – $47

Marten – $47

Muskrat – $2.73

Otter – $47

Mink – $9

Raccoon – $9

Red Fox – $22

Skunk – $10

Prices seemed in line with results of other recent auctions.  Marten prices were encouraging, considering that Idaho marten are typically on the low end.  Some folks may be disappointed with the bobcat price, but buyers are able to be much more choosy, and the price difference between the best cats and the lower grades have been widening over the past few months.  Muskrat prices seem to be creeping lower, and beaver continue to be in the tank.
