More of a question than a comment but how bad have your refusals been with the Small lynx exclusion device on fisher? The 6×6. Is it worth setting if all you have are fisher in your area and no Marten? Thanks
Hey Bruce,
The refusals are bad, but you’ll still catch smaller fishers. I have set them in areas with very few marten and lots of fishers around, and caught fisher up to around 11-12 lbs in them. I actually like them for remote areas because the boxes are easier to carry around. I also think they have other advantages over the larger devices, and have discussed details on that in past podcast episodes.
